Session Description:
On August 8, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the development of creative (creative) industries in Russia.
The law defines the basis of legal regulation of the organization and development of creative (creative) industries in Russia as a basic sector of the creative economy, establishes the conditions of activity and state support in this area and should come into force 180 days after its official publication.
In accordance with the Law, architecture and design are included in the list of creative industries in the section of applied creativity.

During the session, invited experts will discuss the following issues:
  • the next steps in the implementation of the Law, the need to develop and adopt bylaws
  • the impact of creative industries on national projects and the country's economy as a whole
  • regional standard on creative industries
  • impact of the adopted Law on the spheres of architecture and design
  • Prospects of export of products and services of creative industries and development of international cooperation in this sphere
