REVIEW-RATING "COMPETITIONS FOR YOUNG ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS IN RUSSIA AND ABROAD"
The review includes the largest, most promising and just potentially interesting architecture and design competitions and involves analyzing and ranking them according to the following parameters:
MAIN BLOCKS OF MATERIALS:
Interviews with contest finalists, organizers of the largest contests in Russia and abroad.
Extended additional sections of the review of foreign contests are released in succession
MAIN BLOCKS OF MATERIALS:
- Conditions of participation, accessibility of conditions for young professionals
- Reputation of the competition (among specialists, customers and employers)
- Presence (absence) of a cash prize
- Availability (absence) of the possibility to implement the proposed project
- Transparency of the competition and its compliance with international requirements: quality of the competition documentation, criteria for evaluating works, availability of participation guides
- Quality of the jury
- Competition website
- Geography of the contest participants (diversity of regions, presence/absence of international participants).
- Quality of coverage of the competition and its results
