Session Description:
Artists, designers and architects, interacting with urban environments, endow them with new symbolic meanings - works of art, architectural design become symbols of cities, involve local communities and attract tourists and representatives of the creative class. At the session we will talk about how young and creative people can influence the development of urban environment, about successful examples of integration of artistic practices into urban spaces - in the form of art and architecture objects, as points of attraction, development of creative communities. We talk to those who do something in the creative industries themselves - about personal stories, career trajectories in creative professions, community building, and the role of art in city life
