Session Description:
The design of museums has long gone beyond their typology, and in many cities these buildings have acquired the status of the most significant architectural landmarks and points of attraction for citizens. Discuss with the experts:

  • basic principles of designing modern exhibition spaces
  • how to find a balance between basic and commercial functions
  • what new functions should be integrated into museum complexes and why
  • how new technologies can attract new audiences
  • Why the “theatrical” format of museums no longer works
  • How to make museums part of a seamless urban environment
