Vera Burtseva Joins Jury of International Campus "Vertical Evolution"
Friends! We are delighted to announce that Vera Burtseva is joining the jury of the International Campus "Evolution in Height." The expert will share her experience in working with urban spaces, digital environment models, and sustainable solutions to help participants refine and articulate their ideas more thoughtfully.
As General Director of "Bureau of Engineering" and Director of the Research Institute for Sustainable Development in Construction, Vera has been involved in concept development across all stages of the project lifecycle. Her portfolio includes: the award-winning multifunctional "Badayevsky" complex on Kutuzovsky Avenue; the "Lakhta Center" in St. Petersburg—the city's first skyscraper and the tallest in Europe; the Fabergé Museum, where the environment is built around the value of a unique collection of Russian jewelry art; and the multifunctional "Dinamo" sports complex in Moscow, uniting several arenas with a total capacity of up to 33,000 spectators.
This experience allows the expert to demonstrate how modern design approaches integrate functionality, comfort, and sustainability while maintaining attention to historical context and aesthetics—whether working with heritage, as at the Fabergé Museum, or creating new urban landmarks.
The architect has also contributed to the development of the national Green Zoom and Socio Zoom systems, which help account for sustainability and comfort in urban projects. Green Zoom assesses the energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of buildings, while Socio Zoom evaluates how safe, convenient, and comfortable the environment is for people.
By the way, applying to participate in the campus is very simple—just complete the easy registration via the link. See you there!
