Today we are starting to talk about another country participating in the Congress - representatives of the Republic of Belarus will take part in it.

And here is why it will be interesting for architects and designers from different countries to do projects there:

In 2024, the population of Belarus will increase by 756 people and at the end of the year will be 9,454,637. Its centuries-old history and diverse architecture is a veritable treasure trove of inspiration for architects. From grandiose fortresses to modern skyscrapers, Belarus is filled with architectural details and styles that attract attention and inspire creative ideas.

On January 1, 1992 in Belarus there were 102 cities, of which 1 city of republican subordination (Minsk), 36 cities of regional subordination and the rest of district subordination. And many of them have formed a demand for architecture and design. Here's something about some of them:

📎Minsk, the capital of Belarus, is not only a modern city with high-rise buildings and modern infrastructure, but also a place where many architectural monuments reflecting different historical eras have been preserved. You can find both stylish Stalinist high-rises and elegant mansions and houses, as well as cozy streets with wooden buildings that provide a unique atmospheric backdrop for creativity.

📎Gomel, with its industrial heritage, invites architects to explore the unique factory buildings, plants and warehouses that have become part of the city's history. These industrial sites, which have retained their character and authenticity, can be a source of inspiration for the creation of modern spaces and objects.

📎Brest, with its medieval fortresses and castles, is a true architectural ensemble that immerses you in the past and inspires unique architectural designs. Among its architectural sights one can single out the Brest Fortress, which is one of the symbols of the city and attracts thousands of tourists and architectural enthusiasts.
