Alena Zaitseva, architect and co-founder of UTRO bureau
Alena is a co-author of such Moscow public spaces as Krymskaya Embankment, City Farm at VDNKh and Ogorodnaya Sloboda square. Curator of courses at MARSH and speaker of programmes at the School of Developer.
UTRO has been engaged in projects of improvement and design of public spaces and interiors, revitalisation of historical buildings and territories since 2015. The founders of the bureau are architects Alyona Zaitseva, Olga Rokal, Olga Khokhlova and Marina Yarmarkina.
Among the largest and most famous projects of the bureau are revitalisation of the Manor clubhouse, creation of the creative space Atelier in the culture house HPP-2, landscaping of the territory of the Tsvet 32 clubhouse and Metropolia Residential Complex, creation of the Ogorodnaya Sloboda public garden.
The bureau's projects are winners and laureates of prestigious Russian and international awards, such as DNA Paris, LOOP Design Awards, [d]arc awards, LIT, IPI Awards and others.
