ICM ARCH strengthens partnerships: Maria Yashenkova discussed innovations with the Chief Architect of the Leningrad Region

As April draws to a close, it is worth noting a significant event for the II International Congress of ICM ARCH 2025: Maria Yashenkova, a member of the Organising Committee, met with Sergey Lutchenko, Chief Architect of the Leningrad Region, within the framework of the 32nd InterStroyExpo exhibition (14-16 April, St. Petersburg). The dialogue touched on the integration of digital technologies in architectural education, interdisciplinary design and sustainable development of urban spaces - key topics for the future congress to be held in Moscow in December.
Participation in the exhibition allowed us to strengthen ties with architects and developers, which is especially important for the preparation of ICC ARCH 2025. The Congress, uniting 7,500 participants from 72 countries, will be a platform for addressing global challenges: urbanisation, ecology, social justice. The programme includes three stages - Safe City, Sporty City, Creative City - with a focus on interdisciplinarity, innovation and learning by doing.
The parties have agreed to organise a joint event in April 2026. ‘MKM ARCH is a bridge between education and international co-operation. We are creating a new generation of leaders in architecture and design’, - the organisers note. Maria Yashenkova's visit to InterStroyExpo confirms the congress' course on practical dialogue with the industry.
